Q and A With Miki Agrawal, Founder of TUSHY

Recently, Miki Agrawal gave an interview where she laid everything bare. The founder of TUSHY answered a series of personal questions to give insight into the deepest recesses of her soul.

Q: What’s your latest project?

A: Founding TUSHY, an affordable bidet attachment.

Q.: Where were you born and raised?

A: I was born in Montreal, and raised in Austin, Texas. I consider Austin my hometown.

Q: what would you say is your profession?

A: I am a social entrepreneur and founder of three companies: WILD. Thinx and TUSHY.

Q: There’s a rumor that you’re multilingual. Is that true?

A: It is true! I speak English, Japanese, Spanish, French and Hindi.

Q: What’s your most recent accomplishment that you’re proud of?

A: We recently completed a funding round for TUSHY.

Q: What are your goals moving forward?

A: I am most interested in mentoring young entrepreneurs and primarily helping women of color.

Q: What do you consider to be your greatest achievement so far?

A: I recently spoke at a leadership summit that was held in Antarctica. It was about solving the world’s problems through art and creativity. I was pretty excited about that. But I think in terms of my company, TUSHY, I’m pretty proud of being able to save 15 million trees every year and helping to improve human health and hygiene by spreading the word about the benefits of TUSHY bidets.

Q: is it true that you’re a fan of soccer?

A: I used to be a professional soccer player.

Q: Who has had the greatest influence on your life?

A: I would definitely have to say that it has been my identical twin sister.

Q: What would you say is the best advice that you’ve received during the course of your career?

A: I’ve had lots of good advice and that advice, but the best advice that I’ve had regarding my career would have to be to hire slow, and fire fast.

Q: if your closest friend had to choose one word to describe you, what would it be?

A: Authentic

Q: How would you describe an ideal business relationship?

A: I would define that as being a person who had a skill set that was exactly the opposite of mine, as well as a temperament that was exactly the opposite of mine. The ideal business partner for Miki Agrawal would be pensive and thoughtful.

Q: Which technology do you feel benefits you the most and your business?

A: Definitely the internet.

Q: If you could choose the title for a movie that was about your life, what would be the title?

A: Get it Done, by Miki Agrawal.

Q: If you knew that you only had one day to live, how would you spend it?

A: I would spend it out in nature in the company of my favorite people.

Q: Do you have a personal motto?

A: “My personal motto is to live deep and suck the marrow out of life!,” says Miki Agrawal.
